Lemon Extract Glazed Cookie

IMG_2628In my second attempt to make a flavorful simple cookie, I turned to a twist of lemon which was much more successful.  Since cookies do not require much liquid in baking, I read this is a time that calls for a more concentrated form.  I turned to the McCormick website and used lemon juice extract in these lemon cookies.

The only change I made to the original recipe was replacing 1 C white flour for whole wheat flour.
